Arsenic tied to tumor growth

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center has published a study on the effects of environmental arsenic that indicates the contaminant in drinking water can both stimulate the growth the cancerous tumors and cause them to spread faster. Many previous studies have linked arsenic ingestion and cancer - especially skin and bladder cancers. As a result, the WQA is calling upon consumers to check with their local water treatment professionals to explore POU/POE treatment options for remeditating arsenic levels in their water to below four ppb.
